WEEKLY MAT ADULT YOGA CLASSES - Wednesdays at 11:30am


We offer Adult Mat Yoga EVERY WEDNESDAY at 11:30 am with Taryn and Kristin, who are RYT-200 Certified Yoga Instructors and started Iris Mind+Body to share yoga, meditation, and other informative workshops. Combined, Kristin and Taryn hold certifications in Vinyasa, prenatal, mental health and restorative yoga, and have spent many hours studying guided meditation. They are looking forward to leaving you feeling relaxed and renewed! Call 973-226-8636 to sign up. RSVP is appreciated, but not required.

NEW! FIT IN FEBRUARY - Monday, February 26, at 10 am


Start off Heart Health Month with a fun, new group fitness activity! Do weight loss, healthy eating, and starting a physical activity program top your list of goals for 2018? Want to get started but not sure how? This group activity will give you the opportunity to try different types of exercise and exchange healthy meal and snack recipes in a comfortable, encouraging environment. Weekly program includes 20-30 minutes of low-impact exercise (streamed on video), followed by a discussion. Ideal for beginning fitness levels. Participants should bring a towel and water bottle. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! T'ai Chi Chih is a series of slow and gentle movements based on ancient Oriental wellness principles. It is not a marital art. When practiced regularly, T'ai Chi Chih increases energy and awareness, reduces stress and tension, adjusts balance, tones muscles and joints, strengthens bones, clears the mind and releases creativity, improves circulation and flexibility, and helps renew one's sense of health and wellness. Library assistant Scott Bergenfeld is available to show you the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other tech resources any Friday from 9 am to noon. Learn how to safely and effectively navigate social media; create resume templates, letters, and spreadsheets; utilize valuable cell phone, iPad, and Kindle features, such as calendars and more. Due to the popularity of this program, RSVP is now required - please call 973-226-8636 to set up an appointment. This is drop-in instruction, not a formal class.
