News & Announcements
Virtual Presentation: 1980
Monday, June 15, at 7 pm: Award-winning journalist Evan Weiner will give a semi-autobiographical presentation on the year 1980 via Zoom. Go back to the era of Ronald Reagan, the legendary U.S. olympic hockey team, the return of the American hostages from Iran, along with other history and pop culture. Register to receive a confirmation email with details on how to join the meeting.
Virtual Murder Mystery Show
We are very excited to share a new Murder Mystery series presented by Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ! Murder at Cheltenham Manor features a Downton Abbey theme, and we will air an episode every week. Tune in to Episode 1 here.
Library Temporarily Closed
In accordance with current state mandates, the library will remain closed until the governor's executive order is lifted. We encourage patrons to keep materials at home. Due dates will be reset after we reopen and fines will be waived. Delivery is suspended when a library closes (most libraries in BCCLS are closing). Patrons will not be able to request materials while we are closed. We appreciate your patience and support.

The library may be closed, but your library card is still your ticket to many places! You still have access to our electronic resources. Look through the E-Resources tab on this home page and check back often for new additions.

Stories offers parents, educators, and caregivers a screen-free experience to look forward to each day. Selections in six languages available—English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Japanese. No account or log-in required.
Temporary Virtual Library Cards Available
Roseland residents: If you don't have a library card but still want to take advantage of our electronic resources while we are closed, cut and paste below and complete the form. The card will be valid until we reopen.
Free WiFi Still Available
f you need to get out for a breath of fresh air and need some WiFi, it is still accessible in our parking lot and patio. The WiFi is free and available from 9am to 9pm daily.
Homebound Delivery Service
Stuck at home with an injury or other situation that makes getting to the library impossible, and are eager for a certain book or DVD? Try our Homebound Delivery Service! Call the library at 973-226-8636 and arrange to have your items delivered to your home! PLEASE NOTE: THIS SERVICE IS FOR ROSELAND FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY PATRONS WHO ARE ROSELAND RESIDENTS ONLY. HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICE IS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Make the Most of HOOPLA
HOOPLA is back for our patrons! Go to www.hoopladigital.com and enter your library card information to download free music, movies, television programs, audiobooks, and ebooks with no late fees. Leveled Reading List Books Available
Noecker Kids & Parents: We now have a list of books available at the library for the leveled reading system used at Noecker Elementary School. All you have to do is inquire at the Circulation Desk, and you can see a list of books at your child's current level that we have available.
Mobile Hotspots Available
Mobile Hotspots are now available for our patrons who are Roseland residents! Available to patrons 18 or older with a valid driver's license and valid Roseland Free Public Library card. Each hotspot provides internet access for up to 10 devices. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, and the loan period is 14 days. There will be a $5 per day late fee and $100 replacement fee if lost.
